“Great location, clean and safe”
Lovely hotel, with great service. The only problem, and this is not the hotel’s fault, is that the electricity in Kathmandu is temperamental and the lift would not work, so you would have to stair climb. Overall the rooms were very clean and spacious. We were lucky to get a deluxe room, with a bath tub! The staff were always happy to help, and arrange transport etc.

“Excellent Service 3 yrs after last visit”
This hotel provides an excellent support to trekkers passing through the city. The rooms are very good but it is the courteous service and help from the manager and staff that make this hotel exceptional. It is very well positioned at the entrance to Thamel district and Durbar Square is only a 20 minute walk away.
Your home away from home.
Fuji is located in the very convenient, popular area of Thamel. You are minutes away from cultural heritage sites, Buddhist shrines, shops, night-life and restaurants when you are here. The front desk staff are very happy to help you plan a scenic walk.
We pride ourselves for having friendly, helpful, professional staff who aim to please you. Most of our staff members are multilingual in English and Japanese.
Our well-equipped modern kitchen serves Nepali, Indian, Chinese, and Continental meals in an indoor and outdoor restaurant.
Surrounded by tall green plants, this little courtyard provides a quiet oasis for you to enjoy your meal/drink with a good book and simply unwind, and relax.
Our terrace/rooftop garden boasts an amazing panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges and Kathmandu valley, giving you an exclusive view of the Swayambhunath Stupa (an important Buddhist shrine) nearby.
We have a Conference Hall for meetings, seminars, and group briefings accommodating 30 people: perfect for your business or travel group needs!
The 50+ solar panels that we have installed (and continue to install) over the year on our rooftops allows us to not only provide hot water for showers and electricity to our valued guests, but also makes us more energy-efficient and sustainable.
